Personally, as a vegetarian, I was extremely angry and watching this and seeing him defend animal farming practices, the use of animals for testing, etc... Needless to say I got angrier and angrier as I watched the interview and have been planning to write a nasty email to him every since. I haven't done so yet but I think today is the day. Wish me luck.

I'm in the middle of reading My Ishmael. A damn good book if you are every interested in how/why to save the world. Also reading Cities in Civilization. Bought it from the National Art Gallery and I must say I am enjoying it, definitely makes you think. Very heavy book though, not good to read while walking because it makes your arm sore.
I figure I am going to slowly work through cities in civilization (over 1000 pages) while reading smaller books. Next in line I have a tolkien bestiary, lord of the rings, universe in a nutshell, contact, 5th Harry Potter, Bulfinch's Mythology, Webster's Dicitionary, etc...
Games I am playing:
Neverwinter Nights - just started playing this game again, never really got very deep into it the first time. Decided to go with an elf wizard to make the game a little harder for myself. Still have to figure out how to sort through my spells but I think I am getting the hang of it. Can't wait to get home and play it a little, scared however at the thoughts of how much of time is going to be wasted playing the game.
Links 2003 - Playing the the power swing makes the game damn hard and makes it feel like I am playing myself since my score is usually well over 100. Great game though.
Age of Mythology - Fun Game, play it every couple days. Just arrived in egypt so it should be good.
Movies I need to see:
The Hours, About Schmidt, Donnie Darko, Pi
Movies I need to see again:
LOTR1 extended version, LOTR1 appendices 1/2, LOTR2
Things preventing me from doing the above:
school, TAing and marking labs, The Lyndsay, eating, sleeping
